About Doja

Doja is a family-owned winery with a long tradition of vine-growing and winemaking dating back ever since 1895, located on the slopes of the mountain Jastrebac with an altitude of 470m. The specific climate has a difference between day and night temperatures of up to 15 degrees in ripening period, making the Toplica region so unique and interesting.

Toplica explained

Because of the small amount of precipitation in the Toplica, the vines cause mild water stress, which makes the berries obtain a high content of phenological compounds and flavour. With 1.5% of organic matter in the soil, it is possible to control the vigour of the vine that allows the grapes to reach full maturation.
