Tasting notes

A vivid ruby hue in the glass, this wine opens with an aromatic bouquet of ripe red and black berries, layered with notes of wild herbs, earthy undertones, and a touch of spice. On the palate, it offers robust fruit, balanced acidity, and well-structured tannins, all culminating in a long, satisfying finish.

About

The Mladenović-Matalj family has been engaged in the production of top quality grapes and wine for several decades, and since 2007, the project to restore old vineyards and expand the capacity of the cellars began. Their philosophy in wine production boils down to simply preserving the characteristics of the grapes in the wine we get from our vineyards.

Negotin explained

Negotin’s district is located in the flatlands surrounded by the Miroč, Crni Vrh and Deli Jovan mountains on one and Dunav and Timok rivers on the other side. On the sandy soils of this area are grown the most beautiful sorts of red grapes out of which are made fragrant red wines.
